The Society of Professors of Education (SPE) has announced that this year’s  Wisniewski Award for Teacher Education will be awarded to the Graduate School of Education and Counseling, Lewis & Clark College, Portland, Oregon.  (Visit http://www.unm.edu/~jka/spe/spe_wisniewski.html for a list of past recipients of this award.)

Other SPE award recipients include William Schubert, University of Illinois at Chicago, DeGarmo Award and Lecture, and William Watkins, University of Illinois at Chicago, Raywid Award and Lecture.
